You may present the gerund as an ailien who resembles some parts of speech in your own language (there are some languages which don´t have such category), but has some differences and peculiarities of his own. He is very nice and active, he is always doing something and that´s why everything he says and does means a process. He likes some prepositional objects and often plays with them. Today we are going to make friends with them, too. The ws was designed to imitate outer space. The diagram on the first page is designed so that the viewer had an optical illusion of moving lines and an object in the cenre of the diagram. Pay attention of your students to this fact. They will remember it and it wouldn´t be hard for them to explain its grammatical meaning, i.e. process.

The present downloadable worksheet was created for high school students and adults at Elementary (A1), Pre-intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1) and Upper-intermediate (B2) level. It is a useful material for consolidating Gerunds in English, and is a valuable material for working on your pupils' Writing skills.
