This exercise contrasts two tenses: Present Perfect Simple and Continuous. Sentences are given in pairs to emphasize the contrast. The answer key includes a short justification, which might be helpful to independent learners.

This downloadable worksheet is meant for high school students and adults at Intermediate (B1) and Upper-intermediate (B2) level. It is great for teaching Present perfect tenses in English, and is useful for working on your pupils' Writing skills. It includes the answers, too.
