Some sentences for students to fill in the gaps with the present simple or continuous in the affirmtaive, negative and interrogative form. In one part the students revise the present simple & in the other they have to make sentences in the present continuous. It can also be used to revise or for extra practice with students with learning difficulties. The key to the exercise is included. Thanks Phillip Martin for clipart. Have a nice day! Gloria

The above downloadable printable was created for high school students, elementary school students and adults at Beginner (pre-A1), Elementary (A1) and Pre-intermediate (A2) level. It is great for teaching Past simple vs continuous tense in English, and is useful for working on your learners' Writing skills. It includes the answer key, too.
