The battleship game worksheet is to practise and drill the structure of the questions and short answers in Present Simple tense. The students draw in the first grid 1 four-cell ship, 2 three-cell, 3 two-cell and 4 one-cell. The ships can be placed vertically and horizontally, not being connected to each other. Hope you enjoy it.

The present downloadable handout is best suited for business/professional students, high school students, adults and students with special educational needs, learning difficulties, e.g. dyslexia at Beginner (pre-A1), Elementary (A1) and Pre-intermediate (A2) level. It is aimed at practising Present simple tense in English, and is excellent for working on your class' Speaking skills. It centers around the theme of Actions.
