After learning the most important features about present simple and continuous, students have to complete the affirmative, negative and interrogative of both forms, as well as, matching the most typical words which go with present simple or continuous. They also have to write the gerund of some verbs, translate some senteces and complete the last activity about both tenses.

The present printable, downloadable handout is a great resource for high school students, elementary school students, adults and students with special educational needs, learning difficulties, e.g. dyslexia at Elementary (A1) and Pre-intermediate (A2) level. It is aimed at teaching Present simple vs continuous (progressive) tense in English, and is useful for developing your pupils' Writing skills.
