Students receive a bingo grid with words on them that may sound similar - various minimal pairs. The teacher speaks in short sentences, each sentence containing one of the words on the grid. When students hear a word that is on the grid, they mark it down. First student to correctly identify enough words to make a bingo is the winner.

This printable, downloadable handout is intended for elementary school students at Beginner (pre-A1), Elementary (A1) and Pre-intermediate (A2) level. It is aimed at practising Phonetics (pronunciation, IPA, phonetic symbols) in English, and is excellent for improving your students' Listening and Reading skills.
