Let your pupils/students connect proverbs (on the left side) to their corresponding meanings (on the right side). Afterwards, they can try to find out which of the pictures belong to what proverb. Use it as an individual or group activity. Page 2 is the teacher´s key.

This downloadable printable is best suited for high school students and elementary school students at Pre-intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1) and Upper-intermediate (B2) level. It is excellent for enhancing your pupils' Speaking and Reading skills. It centers around the theme of Idioms. The key is provided, too.
