Because my students (French, 14 years old...) still think the British currency is the Dollar, or the Queen lives in the White House... So this is a quiz with pictures, showing symbols of the UK and the USA, and a chart to fill in with them to improve their general knowledge.

The above downloadable printable is best suited for students with special educational needs, learning difficulties, e.g. dyslexia at Beginner (pre-A1), Elementary (A1) and Pre-intermediate (A2) level. It is a useful material for consolidating Present simple tense in English, and is a valuable material for strengthening your pupils' Speaking and Writing skills. It focuses on the topic and words of United Kingdom and United States of America (USA).
