"Richard of York gave battle in vain" is a sentence to learn rainbow colours in English speaking world, so this worksheet contains a bit of a countrystudynig material. There are two small texts. One of them tells about Richard of York and another one contains some amusing facts about rainbow colours. There are also names of colours with transcription. You can use this worksheet as a poster, as a flash card and as a reading exercise. BTW, this material can be used for St. Patrick´s day because a rainbow is one of the symbols of the day.

This printable, downloadable handout is best suited for elementary school students at Elementary (A1) and Pre-intermediate (A2) level. It is useful for developing your groups' Reading skills. It features the theme of Colours.
