Idiomatic riddles that are best brainstormed in group. Students try to come up with an answer, then possibly check online for more ideas. Answer key included, but more answers possible.

The present printable, downloadable handout is best suited for high school students and adults at Intermediate (B1), Upper-intermediate (B2), Advanced (C1) and Proficient (C2) level. It is excellent for developing your students' Reading skills. The exercises come with a key.
