The objective is reading for comprehension and inference.
I have students scan and preview first, then use their dictionaries to translate new vocabulary. We read silently as individuals, then we read it together. I will use 2-3 students to volunteer to act out the scenario.

After that students discuss and answer the questions.

They find the past tense verbs in the reading.

Then they answer the questions on the back.

The present downloadable printable is best suited for high school students at Pre-intermediate (A2) and Intermediate (B1) level. It is aimed at consolidating Past simple tense in English, and is useful for enhancing your groups' Reading and Writing skills.
