This reading comprehension is about the 1960 desegregation episode when Ruby Bridges integrated an all white school in Louisiana, during the Civil Rights Movement. It is meant to be worked on before studying the Rockwell painting "The Problem We All Live With", which is based on that particular episod. Answerkeys are provided.

This downloadable teaching material was created for high school students at Intermediate (B1) level. It can be used for developing your pupils' Reading skills. The solutions are provided, too.
