Students read some 'roses are red...' Valentine's Day poems, then write their own! Even weak students can produce a good poem by following the simple steps and filling out the rhyme grid on the worksheet.

This downloadable handout is intended for high school students and elementary school students at Elementary (A1), Pre-intermediate (A2) and Intermediate (B1) level. It is a useful material for practising Phonetics (pronunciation, IPA, phonetic symbols) in English, and is useful for honing your pupils' Listening, Reading and Writing skills. It is focused on the vocabulary topic of Valentine's Day.
