A key to comparing simple present and continuous with simple past and continuous. When students forget a tense, whip this out to show its correct formation. A student suggested the story. It's a bit forced in the past continuous- and a little awkward to write in only one tense.

The present downloadable teaching material is intended for high school students, elementary school students and students with special educational needs, learning difficulties, e.g. dyslexia at Elementary (A1) and Pre-intermediate (A2) level. It is aimed at revising Past simple vs continuous tense and Present simple vs continuous (progressive) tense in English, and was designed for honing your pupils' Speaking and Reading skills. It is about the theme of Actions, Halloween, Holidays, Humor and Storytelling. You will find the solution at the end of the worksheet.
