Shopping Lists

Cut out items. Students have to try and work out which items you can find in which shops (there are some overlaps). This encourages them to look up new vocabulary. Once the items have been matched to the shops they then become shop owners and customers, requesting items from each other. Vocab can be altered to suit different levels.

The above downloadable worksheet is a great resource for business/professional students, high school students and adults at Beginner (pre-A1), Elementary (A1), Pre-intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1) and Upper-intermediate (B2) level. It is excellent for developing your groups' Speaking and Reading skills. It is focused on the theme of Shopping.
