After teaching the body parts name, I ask my students to listen the song and fill in gaps with the missing words (parts of the body).
As a follow up activity, I hand in each student a blank sheet of paper so they can draw their own monster. Find below the steps:
1 - After checking answers, teacher draws the body of an alien following the idea of the song: 4 legs, face, hair and 2 arms.
2 - Ss do the same on their sheets and write their names on it.
3 - Ss1 should ask the person next to them (as a clockwise) to draw a body part on their own sheet. And all ss should complete all drawings helping each other and they go drawing, practicing the vocabulary until the alien is finished / they get the sheet with their names on it.
4 - They cannot change the body they listened in the lyric
5 - Since they get their sheets differently from the begining, they should compare their sheets in pairs or groups.
Ex 1: Charlie says: Anna, I want 4 eyes on my sheet.
Anna says to John she wants 5 ears on Charlie's sheet
EX 2: My alien has 4 eyes, 5 ears, 3 belly button, 7 hands
