The Bridge - ordering activity

My take on the classic "Bridge" story in which students must make a value judgement in who is most to blame. Story should first be cut up into strips. Students should then order them in groups. Finally - first as individuals, then as groups - must assign blame to the various characters. Who they blame apparently coincides with which ideal they most highly value.

The present downloadable handout is a great resource for high school students and adults at Intermediate (B1) level. It is great for teaching Past simple & continuous tense in English, and is useful for enhancing your learners' Speaking and Reading skills. It is focused on the topic and words of Crime, law and punishment.
