This is a worksheet based on an animated film of The Selfish Giant, the famous story written by Oscar Wilde. It contains a gap-fill exercise, a crossword puzzle and an exercise in which students are asked to write suitable comprehension questions for a set of statements about the story practising wh-questions in the Past Simple and Continuous mainly.

The above downloadable printable is a great resource for high school students and elementary school students at Pre-intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1) and Upper-intermediate (B2) level. It is great for practising Past simple tense, Past simple vs continuous tense and Past tense: USED TO in English, and is useful for enhancing your groups' Listening skills. There is a key provided with the exercises.
