Students adapt the story of The Very Hungry caterpillar with food they like. Print the booklet on ledger format(11X17).
Fold it lengthwise, open it and fold it from base to top. Fold it a second time. When you open your sheet you will see 8 rectangles. Fold it again once from top to bottom. Cut in the middle up to the next rectangle.Open the paper, fold lengthwise again. Push both ends to open the center. Keep pushing then flatten the center.Turn all the pages to open in the same direction.
On top I have students write the title with their own names. EX: The Very Hungry Chantal
Then students complete the book by adding the name of the food they eat each day. They also draw the correct quantity of food.

This downloadable handout is a great resource for elementary school students at Elementary (A1) level. It is valuable for revising Nouns: Proper nouns (names of people, cities, companies) in English, and can be used for honing your students' Writing skills.
