There are four reading texts that have been adapted from World´s Largest Lessons on the theme of "Education" as one of the 17 Global Goals. Q-Matrix (Wiederhold, 1995) is a tool that can be used by students to construct questions that range from lower order thinking questions to higher-order thinking questions. The students can create their own questions related to the texts that they are required to read. The student-generated questions could be discussed in the class to help students to improve their higher order thinking skills, questioning skills and learners´ autonomy. This is also available in ESL printables. Developed by Sirhajwan Idek

The above downloadable handout is meant for business/professional students, high school students and elementary school students at Pre-intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1), Upper-intermediate (B2) and Advanced (C1) level. It is great for teaching Question words in English, and is excellent for working on your pupils' Speaking, Reading and Writing skills.
