A simple matching exercise to introduce traditional British foods. Discussions questions are also included.

Once the students know the names of the dishes you could introduce further vocab i.e. a TIN of beans (not can - UK people generally say a can of coke), SOME potatoes, YORKSHIRE PUDDING, GRAVY/GRAVY BOAT/JUG etc etc

The present printable, downloadable handout was created for high school students and adults at Elementary (A1) and Pre-intermediate (A2) level. It is useful for working on your students' Reading skills. It features the theme of Food.
