A fun activity to practice "used to" for past habits and states. Students have to write down 50 statements (10 for each section) about how they were/their habits in the past. For every section, 5 statements must be true and 5 must be false! When they have finished, you can put Ss in pairs/groups and get them to guess which are the true statements and which are false. (You can, of course, decide to make them write fewer statements, depending on how big your class is).
Hope you like it!! :)

The present printable, downloadable handout is best suited for high school students and adults at Pre-intermediate (A2) and Intermediate (B1) level. It is valuable for consolidating Past tense: USED TO in English, and can be used for working on your learners' Writing skills.
