This is a great compliment to a Halloween Lesson.
1). Cut the story in pieces. Have the student read each paragraph and put the story in order. Clarify any unknown vocabulary.
2).Have the student fill in the gap fill with the past simple tense.
3).Read the story together then discuss. Do you know any urban legends? What's the scariest story you've ever heard?
*For advanced students this can be used as a dictation
