10 classroom posters with well-known rhymes. I rewrite them on little paper hearts and cut them like puzzles (or zig-zag). At the beginning of the class, before the students sit down, each takes one half of the heart from my Valentine's bag, and has to find his/her pair to sit the whole hour together. They read aloud the rhyme, I pin it on the board (so others can see them too), and we explain the meaning. We use them later to make Valentine's cards.
