We are never ever getting back together - present perfect

Ss first try to guess the tense in which the verbs of the first part must be, then they listen to confirm. After that they can continue listening to the song and find the word errors in the second paragraph. This is a quick but fun idea for reviewing the differences between past simple and present perfect, since both are present in the first paragraph.

This downloadable worksheet is meant for high school students and adults at Pre-intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1) and Upper-intermediate (B2) level. It is great for practising Present perfect or past simple tense in English, and is useful for honing your students' Listening skills. It includes the solutions, too.
