A great picture for teaching the present continuous. I put this up on screen and play Splat! with it, then do some verbal true or false sentences. Then I put numbers on the people and allocate them to students, so each student has 2 or 3 to describe. They can do this in pairs. Or one student makes a description and their partner decides who is being described. Then they are ready for the worksheet! Their turn for some writing! A few helps/prompts on page 2.

This printable, downloadable handout is recommended for high school students and elementary school students at Elementary (A1), Pre-intermediate (A2) and Intermediate (B1) level. It is a useful material for consolidating Present continuous (progressive) tense in English, and is a valuable material for developing your students' Reading and Writing skills.
