A great picture for teaching the present continuous. I put this up on screen and play Splat! with it, then do some verbal true or false sentences. Then I put numbers on the people and allocate them to students, so each student has 2 or 3 to describe. They can do this in pairs. Or one student makes a description and their partner decides who is being described. Then they are ready for the worksheet! Their turn for some writing! A few helps/prompts on page 2.
