What are they going to do? (using the "to be going to" + verb construction

This one is generally meant for pair/group work and requires a little bit of imagination. The students are to suggest as many versions of what the people mentioned are going to do as possible, e.g.:

Ted is putting on a warm sweater. He...

Student A: ...is going to take a walk, and it's winter now.
Student B: Or he is going to visit his grandma. (The sweater is a present from her.)
Student C: Maybe he is going (to go) to an "ugly sweater" party =)

etc.

The present downloadable printable is intended for adults at Beginner (pre-A1) and Elementary (A1) level. It is a useful material for practising Future tenses in English, and is excellent for enhancing your learners' Speaking skills.
