This worksheet can be done as an oral activity. One student asks the student sitting next to him:"Where were you yesterday?" When he gets the answer to his question he makes another one: "What did you do there?" Ex: "Where were you yesterday?" "I was at home." " What did you do there? " "I studied English." Etc.
In this way students look at the pictures, and ask and answer questions, practising the simple past tense at the same time.
