A amusing little story about the consequences of throwing a surprise party. Not really for children. You can use the agreement and disagreement cards that I have also posted along with this when you start the debate.

The present downloadable worksheet was created for business/professional students, high school students and adults at Intermediate (B1), Upper-intermediate (B2), Advanced (C1) and Proficient (C2) level. It is great for teaching Phrasal verbs in English, and can be used for enhancing your learners' Speaking and Reading skills. It centers around the theme of Parties, partying, going to parties. The answer key is provided, too.
