This is a powerpoint to go over points about the present cont tense. The students write down what Sam is doing, then they name the tense and it's form etc and what it is used for. Then I handed out some pictures of people doing 'ing' things (swimming, reading, dancing) and they had to write sentences. Then we watched two clips of Mr.Bean on You tube and they had to describe to a partner what was happening.
I gave verbs to help and the two clips are Mr.Bean getting ready in the morning and Mr.Bean making a sandwiche.
Overall he is great for practising the present cont tense as you can describe what he is doing.

The above printable, downloadable handout was created for high school students and adults at Beginner (pre-A1) and Elementary (A1) level. It is aimed at teaching Verb tenses in English, and is useful for developing your learners' Listening, Spelling, Speaking, Reading and Writing skills.
