This is a question and answer game. Students work in teams, choose a category and point/money value, and work together to answer the question. All questions and answers are current for the opening of the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics. It's the perfect opportunity to test your students' knowledge as the Games begin. All questions are editable so you can tailor the game to your students' ability level, knowledge base, and geographic and sporting interests. Please not, this is not classic Jeopardy where the students get the answer and must provide the question.

Technical notes: When you download the file, I suggest selecting all slides, going to the "Transitions" ribbon in Powerpoint, and UNCHECKING the box for advance slides "on mouse click"--this way, the buttons for slide transitions will work without mouse click interruption. Additionally, you may want to change settings on the "Design" ribbon so the hyperlinks on slide 2 change color after you click them (follow the tutorial for PowerPoint 2010, similar in PowerPoint 2013: https://www.brainshark.com/ideas-blog/2012/August/change-hyperlink-colors-in-powerpoint). These are the types of settings that are not always preserved from one version of PowerPoint to another, so check them out before using this presentation with your class.

The above downloadable worksheet is best suited for high school students and elementary school students at Elementary (A1) and Pre-intermediate (A2) level.
