I've prepared it using creaza education software (google it if you want) and used to practice newly taught past continuous structures for 12 y.o children in Poland. I simply elicited character names and activities from the students using PC and asking questions like "Were they dancing?", just after grammar presentation stage, to make them produce PC sentences on their own.

I'm still a trainee, feel free to use this slides however you want.

The above downloadable handout is best suited for elementary school students and kindergartners and nursery school students at Pre-intermediate (A2) level. It is aimed at revising Present simple vs continuous (progressive) tense in English, and is excellent for strengthening your pupils' Speaking skills. It is focused on the topic and words of Actions.
