General Purpose
To plan, organize and implement an engaging instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop their English language skills.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities include:
¾ plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
¾ develop lesson plans
¾ establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities
¾ provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities
¾ identify and select different instructional resources and methods to meet students' varying needs
¾ use relevant technology to support instruction
¾ observe and evaluate student's performance and development
¾ assign and grade class work, homework, tests and assignments
¾ provide appropriate feedback on students’ progress
¾ encourage and monitor the progress of individual students
¾ maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development
¾ manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures
¾ participate in department meetings
¾ keep updated with developments in subject area, teaching resources and methods and make relevant changes to instructional plans and activities
¾ prepare tests, examination papers, and exercises
¾ devise, write and produce supplementary materials, including audio and visual resources
¾ attend and contribute to teacher development training sessions

Proficient speakers
(C2 level on the CEFR required (i.e. 95-100 TOEFL iBT score). Near-native North American accent preferred)
Min. 3 years
(Minimum of three years teaching experience with adult learners)
BA in any subject
(Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree in a relevant field preferred (i.e. TESOL, EFL, Applied Linguistics, English). Teacher training certificate required. International certification preferred (i.e. PCELT or equivalent), Curriculum development experience preferred)
