Job Purpose:
Enabling the success of students and helping in academic achievement to reach their potential through the implementation of the SABIS® curriculum and philosophy and through the consistent use of the SABIS® teaching methodology.

Key Responsibilities:
Teaching students as per the provided lesson plans for their subject(s), SABIS® book series, and academic curriculum.
Maintaining a positive attitude towards SABIS® materials and methods and demonstrating a willingness to promote both.Planning activities that meet the social, physical, and emotional needs of the students.
Supervising the students while they learn and play and seeking ways to improve their developmental skills including but not limited to motor skills, language skills, and personal independence.
Providing support in duties that may include testing; substituting for absent teachers; organizing children for lunches, nap time; and other administrative duties that may be assigned by the school management.
Discussing disciplinary and student performance issues with the AQC as needed and attending training sessions when requested in order to enhance understanding of the SABIS® performance monitoring.

    (Bachelor degree / Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education (must be legally recognized in Germany or substitute suitable German qualification). Teaching Certificate is a plus)

  4. Accuracy in both spoken and written German
  5. Familiar with theories and practices of child development and early childhood education. He/she must be aware of safe playing activities for children and must know first aid and emergency procedures.
  6. Professional Behaviour and Ethical Conduct
  7. Communication skills
  8. Ability to work within a team
