PLUS leisure staff members are responsible for planning, promoting and organizing the activity programme of the summer centres. They also cooperate with the Campus Manager to ensure the smooth running of the centre and a high level of customer and students’ satisfaction.

REPORTING TO Activity Manager
DURATION 2- 8 weeks in June, July, August
LOCATION UK / Ireland. In general, the position is residential and you are usually required to live on campus for the entire duration of your contract.

Duties and Responsibilities
✓ To be a positive and enthusiastic presence on campus, interacting with students and generally working to enhance their stay in the UK
✓ To promote, organize and run all activities and events as well as encourage and motivate students to participate.
✓ To escort groups on trips and to lead walking tours of the main sights providing the students with information about them
✓ To carry out meal duties eating at tables with the students
✓ To conduct airport transfer duties when needed.
✓ To perform the dance routine before and after the evening activity
✓ To assist at any time, whether on duty or not, with emergency situations

Desirable Skills:
✓ First aid qualification
✓ Sports Coaching Qualification
✓ Life guarding license
✓ Experience of working with minors
✓ Knowledge of the Chinese language and culture
✓ Computer literate and proficient with video editing software.

Our Students
Our summer courses take place in universities, colleges and independent boarding schools throughout the UK. Students
range in age from 10 to 18. Traditionally the majority of our students have come from Italy, but in recent years we have
been welcoming more and more students from all over the world to our centres. Students are accommodated residentially
at the centre, or with local families.
