NCG is a successful and growing provider of summer courses for young people (10-17) in a variety of prestigious locations in England and Ireland. We are currently recruiting dynamic, enthusiastic teachers for our three schools in England for summer 2019.
York (Queen Ethelburga's College) 30 June - 28 July
London (University of Greenwich) 30 June - 4 August
Manchester (University of Salford) 30 June - 11 August
Teachers
You will plan and teach engaging and interactive lessons based on New College Group's themed materials, prepare students for excursions and assist the Director of Studies in testing new students.
We operate a full day teaching programme (30 contact hours a week Monday to Friday). Planning time, administrative and supervisory duties and CPD sessions will also be included in your working week. There may be weeks when the teaching load is lighter, when you will be required to participate in the social/activity programme, working alongside the Activity Leaders.
New College Group is accredited by the British Council and ISI.
New College Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and all staff are expected to share this commitment. Therefore, all references will be followed up, gaps in CVs must be explained satisfactorily and appropriate suitability checks will be required prior to appointment. A DBS check will be requested in the event of a successful application (50% of the cost will be covered by NCG), and a Police check will be required from any country where the applicant has spend more than six months in the last five years.
