I love your idea. I need to know how you do that? I mean putting questions and put time frame in the video. You took control with the way you want your students to learn. Is there a direction on how to do it?

don't you think "A cyclist EYED ..... while he WAS RIDING" would be a better solution? Anyway thanks for the job, I did not know it was possible for us to do that. I think I will try it.

Thanks, it's really good fun - very inventive use of a great ad. My only problem with it from a teaching perspective is that as a Brit, I would say 'The cyclist looked at the red button while he was riding his bike'. He had been riding his bike prior to seeing the button, and the bike riding was intended to continue afterwards; whereas the looking was a one off action which was completed immediately - past simple. TBH I would have said 'The cyclist saw the red button while he was riding his bike.' But maybe it's a usage thing? I'm currently teaching in Tanzania where English usage differs considerably from standard E, even among fluent English speakers.

thanks for sharing . it's quite interesting to teach past continuous and past simple to talk about simutaneous actions , actions interrupting durative and continuous (progressive actions) ... actions after ; action before and actions happening at the same time.
