Guess who - Dc Comics / People's description 

A listening/reading/writing activity to practice the past tense and past continuous tense. In the story, a house was robbed and the students listen to the police interviews to find out what happened. In the end, students write a story saying who they think the thief was and why based on facts from the interviews.

This is a quiz game about weather. It's a fun way to reinforce vocabulary while subtly introducing new words. I usually review the answer options then say, "Who thinks A? Raise your hand. Ok. Hands down. Who thinks B?..." Of course, you can adapt it to suit your own needs, though (i.e. make it more difficult, make it easier, etc.). Anyway, feel free to change it however you wish.

"How's the Weather" Game

The kids have to guess who is hiding behind the boxes. I have the kids ask each other in turn "who's this?"  while reveiling bit by bit the cartoon hidden behind the boxes. 

And as an answer I have them give me a sentence such as:
