A ppt presentation I´ve prepared for my little pupils to practise numbers 1-20 and basic colours. Pupils listen to the colours and then click on the right coloured pencil. Hope you find it useful in your classes. Have a nice day, mada :)

Numbers and Colours - HIDDEN PICTURE

This is an easy board game I made to reinforce/revise basic vocabulary (especially numbers) with my kindergarten class  (5 y-olds), but I think it could be suitable for grade 1 kids as well. They just roll the dice (I made one with numbers 1,2,3 only so the game would last a bit longer!), move their pawn and then follow the instructions on the board. As my 5 y-olds can't read yet, I did this for them. If they answer correctly, they stay where they are; if they don't, they have to move back to where they were. It's then the next kid's turn. The game takes about 10 minutes.

NUMBERS & COLOURS

Vocabulary: numbers 1º and 2º of primary. English language. It is suitable to make students get familiar with the written form of numbers from 1 to 20. It can also allow you to practice colours.

Numbers with Colours (1-20)

Ask a student to draw a piece of paper (from the 1st page) and announce it out loud.
Other students must listen and cover / tick the corresponding square.
The first to complete a line / the whole grid shouts "bingo" and wins.

Colours, Animals and Numbers Card Game

I created this Jeopardy Game (ppt) using a template I found on the Internet. You can change the pictures if you want. 



Each child or team chooses a category and they are asked a 'What is this?' question type. The child/team who gets more points, wins. The more points the questions is worth, the more difficult it is.
