A quiz that I used at christmas, which can be used for a quiz on any topic as the questions can be changed. Students pick a topic and an amount. The more the money the harder the questions. My students love this!

The PowerPoint presentation helps your students practise asking questions with and without auxiliaries. 



First, students should make a question using the prompts.



After they do this, their task is to choose the correct answer.

Sorry for my delay. This is an interactive game on Halloween based on the famous TV quiz show Who wants to be a millionaire? I hope is useful for you, although you will use it next year.



HALLOWEEN QUIZ

There are six questions. In each one there is an image of a stereotyped character and a description and, in the next slide, there are three possible answers. Students play in two teams and are given 5 points for each correct answer, 3 if it is a rebound.

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
