These are the pictures which I created for my worksheet of the same name. In fact, these can be used for an oral revision. The students will have to use the right structure to complete each sentence. Humorous pictures.

This lesson covers the verb TO BE in present tense (am, is, are) with pronoun contractions. It also practices polite language: Please, Thank You, You're Welcome, I'm Sorry, No Problem.  The Bible reading "God is Light" is from 1 John 1:5. 



Audio narration and a fun charades game are included. Pronunciation of the /u/ (shwa) and  /aw/ sounds are practiced. Homework includes practical reading and writing as well as fill in the blanks with pictures.

Vocabulary review aimed towards beginners and low Elementary.

Students have some description and have to guess the word.

There is a points game with this. designed for 2 or more teams.

If they are correct they choose a snail and get the points or action according to the snail the choose, 1st, 2nd or 3rd.

They get points for 1st and 2nd. 3rd they could lose point.

Also a chance to swap or take points from other teams.

The verb "to be" is an old man and he has 3 sons (am, is, are). The verb "to be" is too old to work, so his sons work for him. Each son has friends (personal pronouns)...etc

One student is sitting with their back to the screen. They choose a number from 1 to 15. Everybody else sees the picture of the character - the character that student has to guess. To do so the student asks general questions (yes or no questions) to the audience, they can answer only 'yes' or 'no'.
