1st handout "Write an adjective next to your name” this accompanies the power point as the students must read and identify the adjective in the sentence.

2nd Handout is the order of adjectives to show the students how adjectives are written in a sentence. This hand out will help the student when they do the final slide. The students must rewrite the jumbled sentence. Here they will see that opinion can be placed anywhere in the sentence structure.



The final power point is a game and students are divided into groups they must identify the correct use of the positioning of the adjectives in the sentences.

Learn the breakdown of an English sentence.  This powerpoint will teach you what an adverb is and how it is used in writing.

What is an Adverb

A1-A2 level.

Colors: Red, blue, green, pink, yellow, orange, and purple.

Activity: What color is it. (answers are on slides.)



Objective: Students learn colors, how to read colors. Bonus students learn how to spell colors and identify them in many photos. 



Lesson Plan:  Review or teach colors. Ask students to tell you what they see. For advanced students practice spelling and writing the colors on a whiteboard.



Last slides: review what colors they see. Ask them what colors are also in the photos. Begin at the beginning again asking students what other colors do they see.

Adjectives are words that modify nouns and there isn’t a general rule which you can follow to form them. 

In many cases, these adjectives don’t even derive from another word.

Form the adjectives of these nouns

Tells us what something is like. They are the same in the singular and the plural. They come before a noun or after the verb to be.  

OSASCOMPN - two or more adjectives before a noun, they appear as follows;

Adjectives (O-S-A-S-C-O-M-P-N)

Slides get progressively more difficult. Student begins by reading, then progresses slowly to describing the picture on their own. Last slide is a game, where student chooses one car and the other player must guess which car they are thinking of.
