This an useful vocabulary activity which help students to practice new words. This activity give the chance to students to expand their vocabulary and associate words with their correct English deficition.

ANAGRAMS

A PPT to use on one of the last days before Christmas. There are 30 slides with one word on each and the answer of the previous riddle.

Divide students into two teams and let them take turns in guessing the word hidden in the anagram. Reward the winning team with a little surprise :)

Animal Anagrams

21 slides with anagrams of Christmas words. Use it in class for a competition during December. Divide the class into two teams and tell them to line up in front of the ppt show. Two first students are challenged on the first slide and the one to guess the word receives one point for the team. Etc.

Christmas Anagrams PPT

Students in pairs / groups read the sentence on each slide, trying to find out the wrong word. Then rearrange the wrong word to make a more logical sentence. An example is shown on the 2nd slide.
