A PPT to check kids' knowledge of how to spell animals names after having dealt with the topic. I always have a competition in class. Class is divided into two teams. One student from each team compete at a time and has to be the first one to say which word is "hidden".

I have no idea why no image comes up but the entire file is there, so don't hesitate to download.

Animals - Guess the word

A spelling game where the letters of animals are scrambled, and students must compete to be the first to unscramble the letters and say the animal. 



I have included fifteen animals within three rounds worth different points. Each round is a bit harder than the previous one. 



Usually, I just split the class girl/boy and have students raise hands to guess and earn points for their team. 



This game is a modified version of islcollective user Mulle's "Animal - Guess the Word" powerpoint game.



All credit to that user for the idea. I have used different animals in case you have already used that game. 

Animal Scramble - Guess the Word

Children will play this game with pleasure and enjoy with funny animals. They'll love it. This is the first part. You have to make a choice, sometimes there could be tricky words.  I am sure your students are smart and will solve any riddles. The game is simple and easy.

For the youngest learners. Kindergarten only. Can be used as a guessing game. Includes just four the most common words. Also can be used as a template for creation the bigger presentation.

It's similar to Hangman, but it's Spaceman instead! I used the template found online to make this game.

How to use: Learners guess letters. Click on the box to reveal the letters. Click on the alphabet to check used letters. Click on 'build' if learners guess wrong letters to build the Spaceship (like when you draw the hangman)

---> can be used as a warm-up or lead-in to lessons on animals or environment.

---> suitable for upper beginners and above because some words are difficult.

Animal Spaceman Game (Hangman)

Students have to guess the idiom according to the images. An Idioms is a group of words in a fixed order that have a particular meaning that is different from the meanings of each word on its own.
