This powerpoint is aimed at training grammar skills by practicing comparative constructions "as...as", "not so...as" and improving vocabulary skills on the topic "Character traits".

Constructions "as...as" and "not so...as"

50 minute grammar lesson on the words and phrases 'as well (as)', 'also' and 'too'. It includes introduction to the words, where they are placed in a sentence. The teacher needs to expand more on this on their own. I suggest verbal exercises with the student first before going further in the slides. That way, they can build more confidence through repetitious action.

Look at the sentences. Each sentence compares two things using comparative adjectives (e.g., bigger, cleaner, more expensive). Your job is to say each sentence using "as as" to show that two things are equal or not equal in some way.
