This is a funny way to review the VERB TO BE

through a SPIN OFF (spin the wheel) game.  All you have to do is divide the class into small teams. Each of them will take turn answering the question "Who is he/she". If the team do not do it right, the next team have the right to answer it, thus, scoring the point.

Verb BE  - Guess Who Cartoons - Spin the Wheel 

This is a Powerpoint presentation on subject and object pronouns. The students should choose the right option to complete the sentence. If the option is right the pencil will circle it. If the option is wrong the pencil will erase it.

SUBJECT-OBJECT PRONOUNS

This PPT was designed to revise some of the things I taught my 11th graders last year. It covers several grammar points. Each slide has a task which students need to solve correctly in order to get the corresponding points - higher points mean more difficult tasks. Then there is a simple explanation on the topic. You can also easily change the tasks if you like.

SPIN THE WHEEL - grammar revision game (for higher levels)

PPtx about Conditional Sentences. It also includes time sentences and  "wish sentences". I've added some exercises between slides so you can check whether your students understand what your are saying.

This is a PowerPoint game I adapted (didn't create this myself) I used it for vocabulary (crops and condiments) You can change it as you like or even create a grammar version.

It involves a picture of the vocabulary hidden in the middle and 6 folders with hints in them. So I started the game by giving 6 points to each team and I reduced 1 point for each hint the team has revealed. I also added funny or ugly/scary pictures for some surprise effect and if the team gets a nice picture they get 1 point extra or I take away 1 point for an ugly picture. Students get to choose which folder to reveal. it doesn't have to be in order. I kept my clues simple as my kids are kind of beginners.

Dear Friends! It's my new ppt game so please give me any advice or write any comments about it. Thanks a lot. :) It's a matching game. Ss have to find the past simple form of the infinitive. You can use a timer if you want. They can practise the pronunciation of them too.

To Be (am-is-are)

2nd graders. Fruits (apple, orange, watermelon, grape, melon, grapefruit, banana, lemon, peach). It is in hangman style, but no hanging anything at all :) Instead, I prepared stars for the winner and a skull for the loser. This power point presentation shows how imperatives are  used, some times to give commands and directions and others to make suggestions using Let´s + main verb.  Here you can see some fun examples for the children. I hope it is usefull. Please leave me a note if you like.

Finally, I worked out a continuation of the previous presentation, which is also suitable for interactive white boards. It begins with a simple explanation (have to be commented, but very simply), which is followed by a funny story which is followed by a game (multiple choise). Please, click on the balloons (not the text)  in this game to let it work properly. In the end you can find an extra exercise to revise the spelling rules of past simple.
