This game was generated in order to review the vocabulary for Academy Stars 2 (Unit - Safety on the road). Students remember the means of transport, close their eyes, and say which one is missing. You can also ask them to say the colours and the directions the transport goes (left - right) to.

A simple matching exercise with long actions in the past marked by a short action described with the past simple. As a speaking practice, ask students to say the sentence before you check it.

Past Continuous Matching

It was prepared to teach and recover some emotion adjectives with the help of colourful cartoons. It is a slide show with animations. So first you can ask the students guess the adjective, then show the answer.

Have the class take notes on the different uses of so / such / too / enough with the relevant examples. Depending on the level of your class, you can either have them complete the exercises with a personal white board, or ask students individually to try to change the sentence verbally. Sometimes it helps to give them prompters like the first word of the new sentence.

This is a ppt with some slides showing cultural aspects about Scotland. It is a culture quiz where students will be given three choices .They will have to choose the right one. This activity works well as a Teacher/ group activity (competition activity among groups).This can be used as a warm up to introduce the topic about Scotland or as a review class after having done other activities related to this topic.This can be done with high school students as well as with adults. Students will be able to practise some reading and speaking mainly, but there´s  also an optional writing task(Project). The answers to the choice are given after having shown the three possibilities and once the teacher has clicked the mouse again on the same slide.

This is a fun preschool activity for teaching and revising body parts. Children's task is to recognize and call out a missing body part. The activity is also useful for colours revision. The teacher asks: "Who is it? Is it a boy or a girl? What color is he/she? What body part is missing?"
