- Click on the wheel to make it spin or stop. After defining color, students choose question 1 or 2 in that color.

Students do not need to know the life of William Wallace as they need to find the questions, not the answers. 



I organize the class in two teams. Students must take turns to give answers but can speak with their team members. Answers must also be written on a small white board that I provide the teams.

Superbrain-Farm animals

This is a phonics ppt game that aims to help students learn to spell the /a/ sound with pictures. As students click on the letter to form a word they learn how it is spelled. The PowerPoint is a  board game that you can use either as a warm, main lesson topic or a cooler.

This is a game where you can review a good number of grammar and vocabulary for children and teens. I have prepared sets of questions divided into different grammar categories and general questions to make students talk. 

Snakes and Ladders

Answers graded from 1 to 3, and you will be able to keep track of their score on screen.



1) 2 teams playing; 2) Team A chooses a number (click on the corresponding sun); 3) They choose an answer (click on the chosen answer); 4) All answers disappear when clicked, but when they choose the right one, you'll hear the sound of a cash register and a coin will appear with the number of points they got; 5) Click on the house button to return to the board; 6) Click on the score board until you add the points the team earned; 7) Now it's team B's turn; 8) All clicked suns (answered questions) will have red numbers, so they'll keep playing until all questions are answered (all numbers in the suns will be red). The team with the highest score wins the game.

Weather Quiz (game)

The aim of this quiz is to test students' knowledge on the Milky Way Galaxy, and revise relevant vocabulary in an enjoyable way. It contains twenty questions. There is a scoreboard to keep track of points in case you would like to do the quiz as a team game.

somebody, anybody, nobody   I beefed up the game a bit because my students were calling each other buffaloes today.  So, I promised them that I would add a few more things to make it a bit more funnier.  This beats using a scoreboard and it gets students attention and a few laughs when they select the wrong answer.

INDEFINTE PRONOUNS FOUR LEAF CLOVER PINBALL GAME PART 1

A simple game to practice vocabulary and speaking. The students are divided into groups (the size of the groups depends on the number of students in your class). The first group starts by sending one student to the front of the classroom. This student is standing in front of the class, facing the rest of the students from his group so that he cannot see what is on the screen behind him. The teacher (or a students from one of the other groups) starts the presentation and measures 2 minutes (or some other amount of time). The students from the first group, who can now see the first word (an actor) on the screen, are trying to explain it to the one who is facing them and cannot see it. They cannot use any words that contain the same root (e. g. act). When the student guesses the word, the teacher clicks and the next word appears. For each correctly guessed word, the team gets a point (It is a good idea to mark the points after each correctly guessed word with a short chalk line on the blackboard). If the students do not know the meaning of the word or cannot think of a way to explain it, they can say „next“ and skip that particular slide, but they can do this three times at most. After two minutes, the teacher says „the time is up“ and counts all the points. Then it is the second team’s turn. After all teams have had a go, the next round can start. The vocabulary in this particular presentation is at A1, A2 or occasionally B1 level.
