What can you do?

Students will practice can and can't and some basic action verbs such as fly, jump, swim, run, fight and drive. At the end of the ppt, students can talk about the different abilities of a superhero (Batman) and they can make sentences like "he can drive, he can see in the dark, he can fight and etc...

What can superheroes do?

ppt with questions and short answers using can as a modal verb. this slide provides examples to be used in a conversation class. teacher ask questions and student's  answer following the examples given. highly recommended for predicting.

The presentation is meant to develop students' ability to differentiate the pronunciation of the modals CAN and CAN'T. It's best when used for selfstudy. Students first listen to the audio, then choose the blocks with words to make the sentence they heard.
