After introducing and reminding some basic vocabulary about the city and the country and have a brief chat about them, comparing the two. I enjoy using visual aids in the class, so do my students. Please enjoy :)

Go through each slide slowly, making sure to elicit students' opinions. If students are not from either country ask which their country is mores similar too. Of course these are all generalizations, so be sure to ask about exceptions.

Look at the sentences. Each sentence compares two things using comparative adjectives (e.g., bigger, cleaner, more expensive). Your job is to say each sentence using "as as" to show that two things are equal or not equal in some way.

I prepared a chapter about "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" for my 11 year-old students. Their final task is to describe the 6th child that should have been in the story. So I thought making them compare the first five lucky winners was a good idea.
